Mission Statement

Placing learning at the heart of all we do by working in partnership with children, parents, staff, governors and the wider community to provide a safe, happy, stimulating and purposeful learning environment. High expectations are set so that all children are challenged to achieve both socially and academically.

Our curriculum will give children the opportunity to:

  • Understand the purpose and value of their learning and see its relevance to their past, present and future

  • See clear links between different aspects of their learning

Our curriculum will give children the opportunity to:

 

  • Have respect for all

  • Build respectful relationships

  • Work in a range of groups and settings

  • Recognise that people are good at different things

  • Reflect and think mindfully about their learning

  • Follow their own interest and be themselves

  • Develop self-esteem and confidence in their abilities

  • Learn in a calm and supportive environment

 

These principles are important to our school as they help the children to build a range of life-skills to enable them to become respectful and responsible citizens.
